Terra Sylvestris is a non profit non governmental organization based in Kalamos island in the inner Ionian sea in Western Greece. The organization is a local grassroots initiative dedicated to the protection of the environment and sustainable development in the area but also worldwide. The organization works through scientific research, legal actions, advocacy and direct actions on the ground to achieve its objectives with and for the direct benefit of local communities and local biodiversity.
