Description:

We are looking for a leader with a passion for and understanding of marine resources, marine facilities, and marine fleets. Someone that is comfortable negotiating contracts and confident handling controversial and publicly sensitive issues. We seek a candidate that can also help us reconstruct and operate our marine station facility.

If you can see yourself as the Commodore of our Geoduck fleet, overseeing 20+ staff, generating aquatic revenue over $12 million dollars, and helping to sustain Washington?s aquatic lands, then we have a career for you!

Our Aquatic Operations Section has over 11 million dollar operating and capital budget which includes five statewide programs: the Ports Program, Aquatic Invasive Species Program, Dredged Materials Management Program, Derelict Vessel Removal Program, and the Shellfish Program.
